TJ and Amanda Pugliese are a father / daughter team committed to providing their clients with professional tax services and advice. With over 30 years of experience in the field and through our dedication to excellence, we offer both homeowners and business owners alike tax and accounting services that are second to none.
TJ Pugliese
Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
I have over 30 years of experience in all aspects of finance and operations in small business, as well as in accounting and tax preparation for individuals and small businesses.
As a Tax Accountant and primary point of contact for assigned small business accounts at David H. Pinkham, CPA, Marshfield, MA (2002-2013), I specialized in small business and individual tax planning and preparation. I conducted thorough in-person tax interviews with prospective and existing clients, and executed quarterly tax planning, including presenting alternative strategies and payment options, and completed tax forms in accordance with policies, and in compliance with legislation and regulations. I also audited clients’ QuickBooks and tax return forms for accuracy and completeness.
From 1988-2013, I was General Manager / Owner of Cafe Eleganza, a casual restaurant and pub located in Pembroke, MA, specializing in Italian American cuisine. As such, I have first-hand experience as a small business owner, and am earnest in helping other small business owners successfully navigate the financial waters of small business ownership. During my ownership of the restaurant, I was responsible for the design and implementation of all system, administrative and operational aspects of the business.

Amanda Pugliese
I played four years of collegiate soccer and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from UMass Boston. Through my work experience as Bar Manager for five years for the Glynn Hospitality Group, and my employment at David H. Pinkham, CPA, I was responsible for ensuring the financial health of these businesses. I was also the Manager of Cafe Eleganza in Pembroke, MA, which furthered my experience and abilities in critical small business operations. I have always been passionate about Business Management and Accounting, and look forward to both providing guidance to our clients, as well as easing their concerns during the stressful time of tax preparation. I joined South Shore Accounting and Tax Service in 2018.
